Dev graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly alongside his beautiful co-star Freida Pinto. This picture was photographed the day after the Oscars and features the eight oscars that Slumdog Millionaire won at the ceremony on the previous day. “I was a 17-year-old kid. I didn’t really know where I was going to end up,” he says. “And this film sort of fell in my lap. It feels like destiny in a way. Even now, the film winning the Oscar is very surreal. The character’s given me so much, not only as an actor but as a person. I remember when production began, I was a ball of nerves, didn’t really know how to work in front of a camera or how to express myself. I was a lot more introverted. And Danny Boyle came along – and this incredible city, which taught me about being an optimist. I feel I can hold my head up high now. I feel like I matured five years in the space of five months. I’m 18 and I was at the Oscars yesterday!” - Dev

Firstly I wanted to apologize about the images from the Oscars not being in the Gallery yet. I currently have a problem with renewing my WireImage subscription, but I will have the pictures up by next week. Sorry for the delay!

But while you wait, here is a cute interview you can watch that Ryan Seacrest did with the the cast of Slumdog Millionaire on the Oscar Red Carpet!

Ryan Seacrest may have been awkward during it, but he still had the cutest interview with the children from "Slumdog Millionaire" on the Oscar red carpet.

He could not pronounce their names and tried to engage with the youngest who did not speak English.

But, even his awkwardness couldn't ruin how wonderful the interview was, complete with Rubina Ali (young Latika) in a powder blue dress

8 Oscars!

It was truly a glorious night for Slumdog Millionaire tonight at The 81st Annual Academy Awards, where this phenomenal film swept away 8 out of the ten nominated Oscars including Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Motion Picture! Congrats to the whole team of Slumdog Millionaire for this great achievement!

- Best Achievement in Cinematography
- Best Achievement in Sound
- Best Achievement in Editing
