29th Annual London Critics' Circle Film Awards

Dev has returned back to London, attending the 29th Annual London Critics' Circle Film Awards last night along with Danny Boyle, Simon Beaufoy, Anita Patel (mother), and old castmates Nicholas Hoult and Daniel Kaluuya. I added a total of 37 pictures from this event to the Gallery.

Vanity Fair + People (India)

Both Dev and Danny Boyle stopped by Vanity Fair's studio to pose for a photoshoot for Vanity Fair's "Hollywood Portfolio". I added one outtake from the photoshoot to the Gallery, and hopefully more will come soon. The issue will be out in March. Here is a video from the photoshoot:

Role in "The Last Airbender"

M. Night Shyamalam is set to make a live adaption of the popular Television Show "Avatar: The Last Airbender", dropping the Avatar and simply titling it "The Last Airbender". He has cast Dev in the role of Zuko, and is alongside Twilight's Jackson Rathbone. You can read about it by clicking here.

Dev Patel is on his way to becoming a real millionaire. According to Variety, the “Slumdog Millionaire” star has just signed onto M. Night Shyamalan’s live-action adaptation of “The Last Airbender.” (Shyamalan has dropped “Avatar” from the title in order to avoid confusion with James Cameron’s sci-fi film of the same name.) He’ll be joined by Twilight’s Jackson Rathbone, and newcomers Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, and Jessica Jade Andres.
